Hallsville Ladycats earn District 14 4A awards

Marshall’s Jinaki Robinson earned overall Most Valuable Player honors, and Hallsville’s Abbie Reeder was the league’s top newcomer with the release of the District 14-4A All-District Basketball Team.

Tiaka Lee of John Tyler was the district’s Offensive MVP, and Amber Hawkins of Jacksonville picked up Defensive MVP honors.

John Thompson of Hallsville shared Coach of the Year honors with Jacksonville’s Allan Pope.

Voting was conducted by the district’s coaches.
