David L. Allen, D.D.S in Hallsville made custom fit sports mouth guards for the varsity football team this year.  The mouthpiece is made of a dual laminate material, the mouth guard is worn to protect the teeth and gum tissues by absorbing the forces generated by traumatic blows during sports activities. Because they were custom made for each player, the appliance provides fuller coverage and fits much more snugly against the teeth. This provides greater ability to absorb shock, while allowing more comfort for the players.
